Rajesh Yadav, a Mumbai autorickshaw driver with more swagger than success, has fancied himself a sleuth ever since a lucky collar earned him a fat reward. For three fruitless months he’s chased missing-person bounties while his wife, Rama, single-handedly keeps the household afloat—and her patience has finally snapped. Granted one last shot, Yadav sets off to track an elderly fish-seller who vanished from the market, only to wake up hours later battered on the sand, his rickshaw missing and his memory wiped. A simple payday has spiralled into something lethal. Forced into an uneasy partnership, Rajesh and Rama plunge into Mumbai’s underbelly to unravel a mystery that threatens to upend their life and the city they thought they knew.
