A powerhouse creative leader with over 20 years of industry excellence, Ghazal co-founded her production house while serving as India’s leading Master Puppeteer for Sesame Workshop, performing globally as Chamki on Galli Galli Sim Sim and representing India on Sesame Street USA. Her mainstream cinema credentials include key creative roles in major films like Sam Bahadur, Chhapaak, Raazi, Haider, and Talvar with renowned production houses including RSVP, Fox Star India, and Dharma Productions, collaborating with acclaimed directors Meghna Gulzar, Vishal Bhardwaj, and Gurinder Chadha. Her achievements include the Gold Plaque Award at Hague Film Festival and Special Jury Award at Paryavaran Film Festival. As a Producer for Sesame NY along with IRC, LEGO Foundation and BRAC, her mission-driven work spans refugee camps in Jordan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, with prestigious performances at the UN General Assembly, HBO, and UNESCO. Paras Borgohain
A distinguished screenwriter with extensive international experience, Paras serves as Head of Development after graduating from UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television in Professional Screenwriting, bringing a rare blend of literary depth and commercial storytelling prowess. His spec script “Deepest, Darkest or How Not To Lie” earned the prestigious BlueCat Roshan Award for best submission from India, presented by filmmaker Gordy Hoffman, while also securing recognition from Screencraft Fellowship and Scriptapalooza. As an alumnus of the Berlinale Talent Campus (2008), Paras has created compelling content spanning Sesame Street’s Indian production Galli Galli Sim Sim and special segments for American series to nuanced character studies exploring complex human relationships amid sociopolitical turmoil. His current projects include adapting American author Stan Leventhal’s “Skydiving On Christopher Street” for feature film, commissioned Bollywood dramedies, and a renowned animated YouTube series. With his foundation in literature from Delhi University and Television/Video Production diploma from XIC Mumbai, Paras consistently crafts stories that delve into communication complexities with commercial appeal and artistic integrity.
